ALPHA Feeds sponsored Lucy Osborne and her agility star Ben Bombastic Mr Fantastic hit brilliant form bringing home a silver medal from the European Open Agility Championships.

Competing in the Czech Republic as part of Team GB, Lucy and Ben saw off more than 300 competitors in the individual round.

Finishing on a clean score of 34.61 seconds, Lucy and Ben were just beaten by team mate Dave Munnings and his dog Dobby.

Said Lucy: “I was so pleased with Ben it is our biggest achievement yet. Ben is in good form and he really proved himself. He was so fast on the A frame, it knocked seconds off our performance and he is so sure-footed that we secured a clear round and in a really fast time.

“He is always such a star and really tried so hard for me. It is brilliant to represent Great Britain and to bring home an individual silver medal is very special.

“I would like to thank Alpha Feeds for their kind sponsorship and continuing support, it goes a long way in helping Ben to perform at his best and for me to cover some of the costs involved in competing at top-level.”

Based near Lincoln, Lucy and Ben have enjoyed a very successful run over the last year and their plan is to now try to qualify for Olympia, having so far won their way through to the semi-finals.

Lucy puts seven-year-old Ben’s exceptional performances and health down to the fact that he receives the correct nutrition thanks to feeding him Alpha Racer performance dog food which provides him with all the nutrients he needs to compete at this fast paced sport.
