October 14: The Chow Chow Breed Council Breed Appreciation Day in line with the new Judges Competency Framework (JCF) being held at the Mancetter Memorial Hall, Mancetter, Warks., CV9 1QN. The day includes a talk given by Mrs Sheila Jakeman on the Chow Chow Breed Standard and the opportunity to take the Multiple Choice Breed Standard Exam which is open to all. The Breed Appreciation Day + Exam: 25.00 incl lunch. The Breed Appreciation Day without exam: 15.00 incl lunch. Registration and Refreshments: 10.00 a.m. commencing with the talk at 10.30. October 21: Lagotto Romagnolo Assoc Judges Training at Briars Centre, Briars Avenue, Lightwater, Surrey, GU18 5UN. Starting 9.30am Trainers - Steve Dean (C&M, am). Rob Dix (Stewarding, pm). The Conformation & Movement module is part of the three Kennel Club Judges Modules and necessary knowledge for any judge of any breed and a requirement for JCF progression. This module will be the morning session starting at 9.30am. The Stewarding seminar will be in the afternoon, starting at approximately 1.30pm. Each session will cost each candidate 25 individually, or if both sessions attended, 40 per candidate (which includes a light lunch). Refreshments provided.
