Ch Zottels Miss Marple of Lameda

(1985 - 2001)

WE WERE very sorry to hear of the sad loss of Christina Bailey’s Ch Zottels Miss Marple of Lameda, on Friday April 20, aged 16 years.

Missy was born in January 1985, and had achieved 51 CCs, 22 Reserve CCs and 14 BIS wins during her incredible show career. For a while Missy was the breed record holder, eventually being overtaken by her son, the late Ch Lamedazottels Flamboyant, who gained an impressive 57 CCs.

From a total of five litters, Missy produced 25 Champions, with 14 of her progeny going on to BIS wins at all-breed championship shows the world over.

Apart from having had a wonderful show and brood career, Missy was a true character, with a wonderful attitude to life (and a great fondness for food!), which made anyone who met her fall in love with her straight away.

Truly one of the breed’s legends.

Our thoughts are with Christina and Leon at this very sad time.
