Wanted - Junior writers
YOUNG STORYTELLERS are invited to take part in the annual Enid Blyton writing
competition featured in the magazine of PDSAs young peoples club - Pet
Protectors.
In a feature in the April issue of the magazine, members can complete a storyline
or write a poem: The competition is open to all members of the Pet Protectors
club and proves one of our most popular competitions. The stories and poems
reveal how talented our members are and its a delight to read them,
said Donna French, Pet Protector Club Organiser.
The Pet Protectors club encourages responsible pet ownership in a friendly and
fun way. For a fee starting from £5.00, members receive their own badge,
membership card and copies of the club magazine six times a year. Members who
join before the end of June will also receive a free Pet Protector baseball
cap.
Members can complete the storyline given of tortoise kidnappers or they can
have a go at writing their own story or poem. The deadline for entries is Friday
29 June 2001.
