Grandborough show revival
THE GRANDBOROUGH Village Exemption Show has been revived, and this years
event will be held on August 25th at Grange Farm, Grandborough.
The 2001 show is the first to be held since 1997 and will raise funds for St
Peters Church. On offer will be both Pedigree and Novelty classes, the
former to be judged by bon viveur Doug Kitchener and the latter by the Secretary
of the Kennel Club, Caroline Kisko.
Entries will be taken from 11.30am and judging commences at 12.30pm.
Also on the agenda are Football Chicanery, Owner Lookalike, and many other activities
guaranteed to raise a few laughs along with raising money.
Rosettes and specials have been pouring in, cream teas are on offer throughout
the afternoon, and for those who work up a thirst, real ales are available at
the village inn, the Shoulder of Mutton. Everyone is welcome, so why not turn
up on the day and see a Warwickshire village at its best?
