THE EAST Anglian SuperMatch 2001 is to be held on Saturday March 3rd 2001
at the Burgess Civic Hall, St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
The forthcoming match will follow the same format as previous years; two knock-out
matches for best in show and best puppy in show winners, from East Anglian
Canine Society Open shows, competing for the title of SuperMatch Top Puppy
and Top Dog awards.
Sixty-four dogs will compete, Mrs Joyce W Mann, Mr M Armstrong and Mr Nick
Bryce-Smith will be the judges and the whole day will be rounded off by a
four course dinner and dance. Tickets are priced at £25.
The policy of Huntingdon Canine Society is to purchase equipment that contributes
to the well-being of the animals within the care of Wood Green Animal Shelters.
Last year the event raised just under £2,000 which contributed to the
purchase of much needed equipment.
