Manchester Dogs' Home - Annual sponsored Dog Walk

MANCHESTER DOGS’ Home is going full steam ahead with the Annual Sponsored Dog Walk on Sunday 16 September 2001. The walk, sponsored by Iams, was postponed due to the Foot and Mouth epidemic. The walk is being held this year to raise funds for our building programme which it is hoped will provide kennels at Manchester and Cheshire Dogs’ Homes.

The dog walk is the major fund raising event of the year with, an average, over 600 dogs taking part. Please help us to make it an even bigger success. Register your dog now!

We are organising many more attractions at the walk this year including a Treasure Hunt, Face Painting, Balloon Modelling and many othe fun activities to keep the children occupied so bring the family along for a great day out.
After completing the walk, all dogs are awarded a rosette and a goody bag. Nobody goes home empty-handed. There are prizes for the most money raised, most laps completed and for the oldest dog taking part.
