Cheshire Dogs' Home Open Day

ROY BARRACLOUGH, former star of Coronation Street and patron of Manchester Dogs’ Home, will be appearing at Cheshire Dogs’ Home, Grappenhall, Warrington, on Sunday 26 August, to open the festivities at the Home.

Dogs’ Home staff have laid on many attractions for all the family, including face painting, tombola, raffles, etc. There could also be bargains to be had from any of the stalls on display, and refreshments will be available. The many raffle prizes include a football signed by Bolton Wanderers’ first team and a cricket bat signed by Lancashire County Cricket Club.

The kennels will be open from 1pm to 5pm for the rehoming of lost and abandoned dogs; come and meet your new ‘Best Friend’ and Give a Dog a Chance.

A veterinary surgeon will be in attendance to help with any problems the public may be experiencing with their dogs. Have your dog microchipped for only £10. All welcome, come along for a great day.
