Home to collaborate with Odeon cinema,
for charity filming of 'Cats and Dogs'

THE MANCHESTER Dogs’ Home is collaborating with the Odeon Cinema, Oxford Street, Manchester, to make the film ‘Cats and Dogs’ a huge success.

This animated film will be released on Friday August 3 and during the opening weekend customers will be asked to bring along a tine of dog food to the cinema which will be donated to Manchester Dogs’ Home. The donated food will help feed the 8,000 plus dogs the Home admits each year (nearly 10,000 dogs in 1999).

The cinema will be displaying material relating to the work of the Manchester Dogs’ Home in the foyer and it is hoped that this will raise public awareness of the Manchester Dogs’ Home and the valuable service it performs for the canine population.
