Country's
leading pet behaviourists present 'a mixed bag'
ON
SATURDAY June 16, some of the countrys top pet behaviourists will be presenting
a special seminar at the Heath Court Hotel, Newmarket, on the fascinating subject
of animal behaviour.
The presentations will give an insight into both cat and dog behaviour and will
be of interest to many pet owners, as well as to anyone who works with animals.
Entitled A Mixed Bag, the subjects to be covered include the pros and cons of
neutering correct handling of dogs and cats and solving some of the common cat
behavioural problems.
The day runs from 10.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. and the cost of £37 covers
entry to all presentations at the seminar, an individual delegate pack, morning
coffee, buffet lunch, and afternoon tea.
There will also be a small exhibition area containing displays from sponsor
companies as well as the APBC (Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors) stand
which stocks many of the most up to date publications on pet behaviour.
The seminar is one of several being organised around the country by APBC in
conjunction with Ceva Animal Health, Intervet UK Ltd and Iams. Further seminars
covering a variety of related subjects are planned for Winchester on 30th June,
Newcastle on 15th September, Edinburgh on 20th October and Manchester on 24th
November.
