And now - Scruffts!

CANINE CONCERN Scotland Trust’s Charity Dog show in Queen’s Park, Glasgow on Sunday 3rd June will this year include a heat of PAL “Scruffts” which includes Whippet Racing for the first time!

PAL “Scruffts” is confined to Crossbreed Dogs and Bitches and is THE family Dog of the Year competition. Regional heats will take place all over the UK throughout 2001 and Scotland hosts the very first one.

It is sponsored by PAL with the co-operation of the Kennel Club. ALL proceeds from the four classes will be donated to the National Canine Defence League.

The winner of each class will be invited to the final at Earls Court 2, London, as part of Discover Dogs on Sunday 4th November.

Celebrity Guests: BBC presenter Jackie Bird, Lesley Fitz-Simons and Gary Hollywood of “High Road”, will be joining us. Plus all our usual attractions and a Therapet Parade of hospital visiting dogs.

All the fun begins at 11.30 a.m. on Sunday 3rd June and there will be loads and loads of great photo opportunities!!!
