Mistress of all trades leaves Kennel Club
Debbie Fisk, Senior Communications and Customer Services (CCS) Manager at The Kennel Club in Aylesbury, will be leaving the company on the 23rd March 2001 after 20 years of loyal service, to spend more time with her young family. Her exceptional knowledge of The Kennel Club's registration and IT systems and her bubbly, positive nature will be greatly missed.
Debbie joined The Kennel Club when she was 17 years of age as a junior data input clerk, when the KC registration operation was based in Maidenhead - this was her first 'proper' job! She steadily made her way up through the ranks and could turn her hand to almost anything, playing key roles in The Kennel Club's IT infrastructure, PetLog and overseeing the smooth running of the registration process.
Said Diane Farrell, CCS Executive, "When I joined The Kennel Club I immediately saw Debbie's potential - she has made a significant contribution to many areas of our activities over the years and when CCS relocated to Aylesbury, so did Debbie, such was her commitment to the company! She has been particularly instrumental in ensuring the smooth transition of the move to Aylesbury and she will be sadly missed."
Diane continued, "Crufts 2001 in March was to be her swan song, but unfortunately, due to the re-scheduling this wasn't to be. I know that this factor greatly disappointed her."
All of The Kennel Club staff, members and people that know her within the world of dogs would like to wish her every success for the future and remind her that the door will always remain firmly open!
