Success for Petindex 2001

The major Pet Trade Industry Show, Petindex enjoyed a successful re-birth under the control of the Pet Care Trust.

An increase in visitor numbers by almost 1,000 ensured that Petindex 2001 was the best Petindex for many years. Many of the exhibitors were pleased to announce record numbers of orders and increased business.

The Wall of Life and Grooming Demonstrations were a source of interest to many visitors and added to the attraction of the show. The Pet Care Trust seminars were well-attended and provided extra value for visitors.
The owner of Fur, Feathers and Fins at Heston , Mr Doug Currie was in the middle of placing an order when he was surprised to find he had won a Brand New Car. He said,” I’ve never even won £10 on the lottery, this takes some taking in”. The keys were presented to Doug by Stephanie Freakley the Exhibition Manager.

Ms Freakley said, “We are delighted by the response to the show and the hard work of all the team has been re-paid by the attendance of so many visitors. We can only look forward to an even better show in 2002”.
