Pal
Scruffts Heats 2001
PAL Scruffts, the Family Dog of the Year competition, was launched at Discover
Dogs last year and regional heats are now due to take place all over the country
throughout 2001. PAL Scruffts is in association with The Kennel Club who co-ordinate
the event to help promote this wonderful celebration of man's best friend, where
all proceeds will be donated to the NCDL.
The first two heats will be taking place on the 3rd June, when Canine Concern
Scotland Trust will be welcoming entrants to Queens Park, Glasgow from 11.00am.
In Liverpool, NCDL Merseyside will be staging its heat, where proceedings will
commence at 12.00.
If you have a family cross - breed dog of any shape or size and would like the
chance to become a winner of your local heat why not come along and join in
the fun in the four classes: 'handsomest cross-breed dog', 'best cross-breed
rescue', 'prettiest cross - breed bitch', and 'the cross - breed the judge would
most like to take home!'
