Over 8,000 dogs for Southern Counties

AS WE go to press we understand from secretary Mrs Angela Cavill that they have received an entry of around 9000 from over 8000 dogs for their forthcoming championship show which will be held the weekend after Crufts. One entry has been made from Norway but another overseas entry from France had to be return as it did not have an ATC number. Several entries from dogs from the island of Guernsey had to be withdrawn as current Foot & Mouth Disease restrictions would not permit the return of the dogs.
