Crufts
2002 schedules available
SCHEDULES
FOR the 2002 Crufts show were posted to last year’s exhibitors last week
and the Crufts Office will have a stand accepting entries at the LKA show
next week. Entries for the show will close on Monday January 7th 2002.

Once
again the show will occupy five halls of the NEC at Birmingham and next
year it will be held on March 7th., 8th., 9th. and 10th. Working and Pastoral
breeds will be judged on the first day, Terriers and Hound on the second,
Toy and Utility on the third with Gundogs on the fourth and final day.
CCs
are available for the first time for Leonbergers which will be judged
on the first day by Mr Peter Jolley.

Photo
by Russell Fine Art - Leonbergers will have CCs for at Crufts 2002.
Here Feehan’s Manorguard Adam handled by Glenda Smith wins Group 2 under
Mr Michael Quinney
at Crufts 1995 - the first group win for the breed.
The
first two days of the show will feature the popular Obedience Championships
whilst on the last two days the main ring will host the Inter-regional
Obedience Competition.
Best
in show will be judged by Mrs Pamela Cross Stern and it is probable that
the BBC will be televising this live on the fourth day in their usual
evening coverage.
The Events Department of the Kennel Club has asked OUR DOGS to clarify
that whilst there will be classes for Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers
at Crufts 2002, there are no challenge certificates on offer for this
breed, as printed in the schedule.
