Essex
Dog Display Team help again
ONE
OF the latest charity fund raising activities by the renowned Essex Dog
Display Team added over £500 to the MacMillan Cancer Relief Fund at their
recent coffee morning held as part of The World’s Greatest Coffee Morning.
The
display team, who for the past twenty five years has been supporting both
national and local charities and community projects, have either donated
or helped raise through organised events, up to £40,000 each year for
good causes, which is truly an outstanding achievement.
They
were organisers of the hugely successful All About Dogs event, held in
May this year at Brentwood, which enabled numerous canine charities or
organisations to promote and fund raise.
The
team, who are sponsored by Ralston Purina, are made up of volunteer’s
and attend up to 50 major events each year showing what can be achieved
with their rescue dogs, of which most have a past background of abuse
and neglect.
Along
with their television appearances, which now total over 100, the latest
being a record breaking tenth appearance on the Generation Game which
was recorded on October 3rd, the team are always at the forefront in Canine
promotion.
If
anyone living within 20 miles of the Brentwood, Essex based team, would
like to gain a place in the team to help with the good work they are doing,
