KC
accreditation scheme for instructors
in dog training and canine behaviour
The
Kennel Club has arranged a series of regional meetings around the country
during October and November, in order to consult and obtain feedback from
as many people as possible, regarding the Accreditation Scheme for instructors
in dog training and canine behaviour.
The
first of these informal meetings recently took place in Scotland and the
second meeting will take place in the North East region on Wednesday 24th
October at Triple A Pet Resort and Care Centre, Follingsby Lane, West
Boldon, Tyne and Wear; Tel 0191 537 1344 for directions. There will be
a workshop during the day, between 2-5pm for scheme members only and an
open forum will take place between 7-9pm, where everyone is welcome.
As
it is expected to be over subscribed, please contact Mr Terry Hall on
0191-271 6526 to conform your place. All other enquiries should be directed
to Sue Evans, the Kennel Club Scheme Administrator on 0207 518 1039.
The
third meeting will take place in the Midlands on Friday 26th October at
Risley Parish Hall, Derby Road, Derby (M1, Junction 25, then follow B5010).
Once again, there will be a scheme members meeting between 2-5pm and an
open forum will take place between 7-9pm, where everyone is welcome. Please
contact Sheila Hockham on 0115 939 7028 / email: Sheila@dogtrain.org.uk
to confirm your place.
Said
Sue Evans, the Administrator of the Scheme, “The first meeting in Scotland
went very well and I would like to thank everyone for their assistance.
If anyone has any enquiries regarding the next two meetings please contact
me directly and I look forward to seeing you all there!”.
