Obituaries
George Amos
It was with respect I heard of the passing of George Amos. I had known
George for 40 years having worked with him on many on which he served.
He had been on the Three Counties Ch Dog Show Committee for over 25 years,
a number of them as show manager. He started Perslove dog training school
21 years ago and many have thanked him for his help. He attended the last
one only a very short time ago. He worked tirelessly for WELKS for many
years also.
George
loved stewarding and could be seen all over the Midlands doing his “bit”
for dogdom as he called it. He judged his beloved Frenchies and Shar-pei
with CCs. George was not one who really took to judging, was much happier
as a back room boy. He had not been in very good health for some time,
but he did manage to help at our last show at Three Counties.
George
hailed from the Birmingham area and his working life was spent at the
Austin Motor Works.
To
his widow we send our deepest sympathy. George will be missed. The funeral
was on Monday 15th October.
