Last chance to register for ABDCH Conference
THE
ABDCH (Association of British Dogs and Cats Homes) annual conference is
almost sold out, so don’t miss this last chance to join in one of the
most inspirational events of the year.
Aimed
at senior managers working within animal welfare, or who are involved
with animals through their work as veterinarians, environmental health
or police officers, the conference is entitled ‘Today’s Solution - Tomorrow’s
Success’. Designed to motivate and inspire, the conference’s emphasis
is on sharing ideas for the ultimate benefit of animals.
The
actress and animal lover Jenny Seagrove will officially open the conference
and in the chair will be Duncan Green, Director General of Battersea Dogs
Home and this year’s Chairman of the ABDCH. Guest speakers come from a
wide range of backgrounds.
Robin
Sieger is an expert on motivation, productivity and personal development;
Mike Radford is the UK’s foremost expert on animal welfare law; Bernard
Ross is one of Europe’s leading authorities on management in the not-for-profit
sector; Professor Bob Mitchell is a respected veterinary author and former
president of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. He is advisor to
the Companion Animal Welfare Council and author of “animal Welfare 2000”;
