Photographic
fun for young people
MEMBERS
OF PDSA’s young people’s club - Pet Protectors - can take part in a cute
pet/animal photographic competition being featured in the October issue
of club magazine Animal Antics.
The
winner of the competition will win an electronic Gizmo, the friendly gremlin:
“Members of the Pet Protectors club love animals, so I’m sure this competition
will be very popular”, says Donna French, Pet Protector club organiser.
The
Pet Protectors club encourages youngsters to learn about responsible pet
ownership in a friendly and fun way.
Club
magazine Animal Antics is issued every two months and is filled with creature
features, pet care tips, president’s news, postbag and details of special
Pet Protectors.
Membership
fees start from £5.00 for individuals. Family and group memberships are
also available. The membership pack consists of a membership badge, personalised

join before the end of November will receive a free ‘Stripey’ cuddly toy.
PDSA
- the veterinary charity - carried out 1.3 million free treatments on
sick and injured pets last year alone. In 2000, PDSA’s PetAid services
cost a staggering £25.7 million, funded entirely by public support through
donations and legacies.
