Show Update
New
date for BUBA
AT THE recently held British Utility Breeds Association AGM
and Council Meeting, the news emerged that due to an administrative
mix-up at the County Showground, Bingley Hall, Stafford, the
2002 championship show has been forced to change its date to
Saturday 30th November.
The Association is grateful for the co-operation of the Kennel
Club, and also, in particular, the Eastern Counties Poodle Club
who have also moved their championship show date back one week
so that the poodle breeds did not lose CCs. The Association
is fortunate that all the judges are available for the new date.
All the officers were re-elected to their positions and the
majority of the Breed Representatives remain the same. The Financial
results for 2001 were satisfactory and in the light of this,
it was decided that the fees for the 2002 show will remain the
same as they were for last year £12 for CC breeds
and £10 for non-CC and Variety entrants; £2 for
subsequent classes; free parking and free admissions and the
opportunity to win £10 in prize money offered in every
breed class and even more in the stakes classes.
Additional monetary prizes will again be on offer for BIS and
BPIS.
