dogs from the world of agility are set to take part in the
Burgess Supa Dog Agility Show the largest event of
its kind in the country.
Competitors will travel from all over England and the continent
to take part in the event which is set to see more than a
staggering 20,000 entries throughout the week long event.
This years event, the sixth to be sponsored by Burgess
Supa Dog, looks set to be bigger and better than ever with
a wide range of exciting and innovative new features.
As the event takes place during the Queens Golden Jubilee
week there will be a Jubilee street party on the Tuesday,
visits by leading personalities, fun team dog agility competitions
and a Supa Dog Supa Cinema.
The Young Kennel Club will also be holding their summer camp
during the show which is a major highlight on the agility
circuit.
The event will raise money for the Riding for the Disabled
Association, Animal Samarotans and Great Ormond Street Childrens
Hospital.
A host of evening entertainment is planned including tribute
bands, an illusionist, disco, karaoke and bingo to make the
week a real family event not to be missed.
This year is the sixth running of the show, which is held
at the Hickstead Showground and takes place from Saturday,
June 1 to Friday, June 7.
One of the highlights on the agility cicuit, the week is organised
by well known agility trainers Linda and Adrian Croxford and
has once again secured the support of Burgess Supa Dog.
Said Linda: We are delighted to have secured sponsorship
from Burgess Suap Dog for the sixth year running, plans are
well underway for this years event and we are hoping
for an even bigger turnout.
As last year, classes will run throughout each day and there
are competitions for all levels from starters to seniors.
Midi classes will also be held, providing something for everyone
over the seven days.
The event will lead to the Burgess Supa Dog grand final on
the last day, which is expected to be a superb finish to a
week of exciting competition.
