Leicester hunt protest attracts 1200 riders

Last week 1200 riders and horses formed a two and half mile procession through the city of Leicester in a mass protest at the proposed ban on hunting with dogs.

Said to be the largest such procession since the Royalists forces headed south to fight the Battle of Naseby, the local protesters were joined by the members of other hunts in fellowship and support ahead of the big London march planned for Sunday september 22nd.
