Trainer’s dogs were ‘out of control’

Stroud magistrates heard last week that a dog trainer’s two german shepherd crosses were found to be out of control several times over a ten month period.

Dog walkers at Stinchcombe Hill near Stroud complained over a series of incidents when Jeanette Larner, 42, of Dursley was exercising her dogs.

The former chairman of Stonehouse Dog Training Club denied five charges of failing to keep her dogs under proper control but was found guilty of four of the charges.

The case was adjourned until September 13th. for pre-sentencing reports.
