Country’s first Italian Spinone Champion dies

On Tuesday December 3rd, after a short illness, Sh Ch Gallowdyke Wreckless Eric at Sundeala passed away. Eric was the UK`s first Italian Spinone champion. He took his first CC at Crufts and his third and qualifying CC at the Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain in an entry of 145.

Born on St Valentine’s Day 1991, Eric was bred by the late John Piggins and Michael Gadsby, owned by Michael and Barbara Davies and handled by Barbara’s husband Clive. Royally bred, he was sired by the group winning Kevandu Fynn out of Gallowdyke Pawnee with Afterglow - both ‘Top Rare Breeds’ for their respective years.
