Breeder to stand trial for cruelty

BORZOI BREEDER and exhibitor Margaret Manning from Exeter is due to appear in court later this month on charges of alleged cruelty towards dogs in her care.

Miss Manning is facing a charge of allegedly causing unnecessary suffering to three dogs, the charge being brought against her by the RSPCA.

The case was due to be heard last week, but has since been adjourned until 15th February when Miss Manning will appear at Clumpton Magistrates' Court.
