Dogs Home appeals for your help
MANCHESTER DOGS Home has appealed this week for loving homes for four of its longest-standing residents. Arthur is a black/sable/tan cross-terrier male dog, approximately three years old. He was collected from Petmedics on 20th December 2001. This medium-sized dog had been involved in a road traffic accident in the Gorton area. He suffered a fractured pelvis and his hip was dislocated. He underwent surgery for his hip injury and has made an excellent recovery. He is a placid, good natured dog who gets on with all the other dogs and is affectionate with people. We are looking for a quiet, relaxing environment for him in a house preferably without stairs.
Burt
is a medium-sized sable and tan cross-terrier. He was found
near Birch Services and taken to Middleton Police Station.
Burt was admitted to the Dogs' Home on 4th January 2002. He
had been involved in a road traffic accident and had sustained
a severe injury to his front left leg. The leg was so badly
injured it had to be amputated but Burt has made an excellent
recovery. He is approximately 18 months old, is very good
with other dogs and has a very pleasant nature.
Toby
is a very handsome black cross-breed dog. He was picked up
from Ashton Police Station on the 4th October 2001 and admitted
to the Home. He was found in the Haughton Green, Denton area.
He is approximately 12 months old with an affectionate nature.
As he is very young, he is lively and would suit a person
possibly with a young family who would help him use up his
playful energy. He is obedient and has had some training. THE OUR DOGS NEWSLETTER To receive Breaking News dog stories direct to your Inbox,
