SuperMatch 2002
Huntingdon Canine Society will be staging the prestigious East
Anglian SuperMatch on Saturday March 2nd 2002 at the Burgess
Civic Hall in historic St Ives and once again Pedigree Masterfoods
are our main sponsors, ably supported by numerous other companies
linked with the dog world.
The forthcoming SuperMatch will follow the same format as previous
years; two knock-out matches for best in show and best puppy
in show winners, from East Anglian Canine Society Open Show
competing for the title of SuperMatch Top Puppy and Top Dog
awards. Sixty four dogs will compete, Mr Robert L T Dawson,
Mr Robin Searle and Mrs Meriel E Hathaway will be our judges
and the whole day will be rounded off by a four course dinner
and dance.
Reception is from 2.30pm with the match commencing at 4.00pm.
Tickets are available at £25 inclusive.
One of the major objectives of this event is to raise money
for the Wood Green Animal Shelter and all profits accrued will
be donated to the shelter to assist in the purchase of much
needed veterinary equipment.
