WHILST THERE is a fair amount of time until the entries for
W.E.L.K.S. close the Secretary Mrs Sheila Jakeman is concerned
that threatened strike action by postal workers may have a serious
affect on the delivery of her mail.
Unfortunately the Oxford sorting office has a poor record in
recent years so she suggests that intending exhibitors would
be wise to send their entries in early.
The show will be held at the three Counties Showground, Malvern
Worcestershire on the 26th to 28th April and it is sincerely
hoped that nothing as dreadful as last years F & M outbreak
will occur to force a cancellation again.
The fees are £19 per dog in a breed with CCs and £15
for AVs and non CC breeds, all subsequent entries at £3
and the same fee to prepay for a catalogue. The actual closing
date is not until the 4th March (postmark) and schedule can
be obtained from the Secretary, Mrs Sheila Jakeman, at Lyneham

Due to ill health Mrs M B Foster has withdrawn from judging
the German Spitz Klein at the W.E.L.K.S. Ch Show and her place
will be taken by Mrs P.A. Beard (subject to K.C. confirmation)
