Not the youngest

LAST WEEK’S Gundog Gossip featured a lovely head study of the GSP, Ch Winterwell Hety Wainthrop. However, the wording that accompanied the photograph was not correct.

I am informed by Larry Wilks that Ch Inchmarlow Kitiara, bred by Ian Sladden and born on June 14th 1992, is still the breed’s youngest full Champion. Kitiara won her fourth CC at GBAS in 1993 at just 17 months of age, and was made up to a full Champion at a Field Trial a few days later.
