Obituary
Mrs Liz Williams
It
was with great sadness that I learnt that Liz Williams had lost
her gallant fight against cancer. To those who knew her and
saw how she continued to live a life of normality, whilst battling
with the various treatments, she was an inspiration. If ever
someone fitted the description of feisty, then Liz certainly
did.
Liz was Treasurer of the Welsh Terrier Association and a valued
committee member, where her contribution to the well being of
the Association will be sorely missed. She had the pleasure
of recently seeing the Welsh Terrier Ch Zilada Zulu, bred by
her husband Dave & owned by Mark Davies, made up at Birmingham
National.
She was also a very good friend who I had known for some 20
odd years, from when she first started in dog showing with her
Cocker Spaniels. I will leave her many friends in her other
breeds to comment on her, but suffice to say she will be missed
by all her friends.
There will be a funeral service at the Gwent Crematorium at
Croesyceiliog on Monday 21st July 2002 at 12 noon. If people
wish to send flowers they may do so or make donations to the
Velindre NHS Trust.
