Christchurch
& New Forest change and arrangements
Because of a chronic knee problem necessitating an operation
BIS judge Leonard Pagliero reluctantly has had to withdraw from
judging at the New Forest open show on 30th July, 31st July
and 1st August. This has caused the following alterations to
judging:
1st day: Bassets and Borzois will now be judged by Mrs L Richens;
Puppy stakes by Mrs S Linter. 2nd: AV working. Lancashire heelers
& puppy stakes will be judged by Mr B Reynolds-Frost. 3rd
Day: AV utility puppy stakes, BIS & BPIS will be judged
by Mr B Reynolds-Frost.
There are two important changes to the show arrangements which
those exhibitors who have been to the New Forest show in previous
years should note. Unless tickets have been already purchased
with entry fees, admission to the main show ground will have
to be paid for at the main show ground entrance. Admission is
not free for dog exhibitors as hitherto.
The police have made sweeping alterations to traffic arrangements.
The old main entrance on the A337 Lyndhurst - brockenhurst road
is not to be used. Dog exhibitors have been provided with a
map showing their route from Rhinefields road on the A35 Lyndhurst
- Bournemouth road. In addition, special signs are displayed
on the route leading directly to the exclusive dog show car
park. Please follow these carefully and remember there is always
heavy traffic in the area during this period, so leave plenty
of time.
All exhibitors should have received the order of judging, a
route map, car park pass as well as catalogue vouchers and main
show passes if ordered. Please check them on receipt. Any errors
or omissions should be notified immediately to the Show Secretary,
Mrs Jan Munson at tel: 01202 874540 who will also answer enquiries.
David Webster, Chairman.
