The Kennel Club is pleased to advise that a Good Citizen Dog
Scheme Ring will be located at the Blackpool Championship Dog
Show on Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd June 2002.
Good Citizen Bronze Award Testing will be available to all exhibitors
attending the show from 10.00am - 3.00pm each day. The Good
Citizen Ring will be situated in the main show ground.
Exhibitors will need to bring with them a suitable collar and
lead with attached identification tag and most importantly a
poop scoop.
Responsible
The
Good Citizen Dog Scheme was established in 1992 to promote
canine awareness through responsible dog ownership. The Scheme
is now promoted through over 1200 dog training organisations
in the UK and over 55,000 dogs have graduated through the
initial Bronze level.
A donation of £1 per dog will be required for each participant,
which will be donated to the Kennel Club Charitable Trust.
A description of the Scheme can be obtained from the ringside
at the show or from The Kennel Good Citizen Dog Scheme office
on telephone number 0207 518 1011 or e-mail gcds@the-kennel-club.org.uk
So come and enjoy the show and become a Good Citizen too!
We hope to see you there and watch out for more Good Citizen
testing at other championship shows this year!
