A
RIDING school for the disabled, has been given a pony by Burgess
Supafeeds, sponsors of the Supa Dog Agility Week which raised
money to buy the pony.
The Dartmoor pony named Layla is a welcome arrival to Leybourne
Grange Riding School in West Malling, Kent and she has the
perfect temperament for the work that will be asked of her.
Layla was presented to Roy Barnes of Leybourne Grange at the
Hickstead Showground on the final day of the Supa Dog Agility
Week. He was also given two rugs by Burgess Marketing Manager
Sarah Riddolls to help settle the pony into her new home comfortably.
Said Roy: This is a perfect little pony for the RDA
and we are all grateful to all at the Supa Dog show who made
this possible. I can assure you that many people of all ages
will enjoy Layla and I encourage everyone to come and visit
our riding school and see how popular she will be with the
riders.
The SupaDog show was hugely successful this year with entrants
travelling from all over Britain to take part. Show organiser,
Linda Croxford is pleased at how popular the event has become.
Said Linda: It has been a wonderful week and everyone
has thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The show goes from strength
to strength and the competitors are of a remarkably high standard
now.
