Family pets dumped for the holidays

RECENTLY MANCHESTER Dogs’ Home, through the press and media, appealed for new homes for the dogs on its sales row. Despite the urgent appeal, selfish owners continue to abandon their dogs and go on holiday.

They desperately need to find homes for the dogs that are not claimed and also to relieve the overcrowding. Every dog rehomed means more space for the others. They have dogs of all ages and sizes. All dogs have received their first vaccinations against parvovirus and distemper. You can make a difference by adopting one of their dogs. Please make that visit and Give a Dog a Chance.

The Manchester Dogs’ Home is situated at Crofter’s House, Moss Brook Road, off Church Lane, Harpurhey, Manchester M9 5PG. (approx 2.5 miles from Manchester City Centre).

If you cannot rehome a dog, please help them to keep them by sending a donation to Manchester Dogs’ Home. They rely on public donations to help to continue the vital work of caring for lost and abandoned dogs.
