Ch Langshi Super Ted dies

The passing of Ch Langshi Super Ted means the Tibetan Spaniel breed has lost one of its great ambassadors and characters.

Born in March 1988 this red dog believed in winning from the start of his show career. He won his first CC in 1989 and amassed a grand total of 24 CCs the final one being awarded at Midland Counties in 1998 proving the breeds long lasting qualities. He held the breed record for some years.

He achieved the unique distinction of being the only Tibetan Spaniel to win BIS at a Group Championship show achieving this at BUBA in 1990.

A happy showman he exhibited the charismatic personality devotees of the breed value so much. He brought great joy to his owner/breeder, Julie Carter during some difficult periods in her personal life and his passing will leave a great void.

Fortunately he sired three Champions, Ch Samar Classic Example, Ch Malia Pastiche, and Ch Inglespan Razzmatazz for Langshi as well as other CC winners. His grandson won the Challenge Certificate at the South Western Club show last weekend.
