OUR
DOGS is sorry to report the death, at 14 years, of the notable
German Spitz (Klein) Ch Lirevas Minnah The Minx at Wentgarth.
Minnah was a great winner and ambassador for the breed and
although in her prime before the breed had tickets, she was
made up at the age of ten years by Terry Thorn.
Her breeder, Averil Cawthera paid tribute to Minnahs
owner, the late Fran Baird who kept in her in prime show condition
for over ten years. Sadly Minnah outlived Fran and her care
and attention was taken over by Pam Allison, as Fran had requested.
Her dam Coomar Donna was put to Salvadore Fast & Furious
of Lireva and the mix was clearly a successful one.
During her show career, Minnah won numerous best of breeds
at championship shows, and best of breed at Crufts three times.
Pam loved giving Minnah the tlc she deserved, allowing her
to live to the wonderful age of fourteen and a half.
