10,000 dogs for WELKS

THE SECRETARY of WELKS advises that the initial rough count of entrants for the Championship show to be held at the end of April indicates a total of approximately 9,600 dogs, a satisfactory number and close to the figure for the year 2000 which was the last show held by the society, their 2001 event being a casualty of the Foot and Mouth Disease epidemic.

The judge for Samoyeds has withdrawn due to ill health and her replacement is Mr George Tyler.
