Changes to KC Publication of results
under the BVA/KC/ISDS eye scheme

Following requests from the English Springer Spaniel Clubs and the American Cocker Spaniel Clubs, the Kennel Club has changed the way that eye examination results are reported for these breeds, in the same way as was agreed for Golden Retrievers.

Although the condition of multifocal retinal dysplasia (MRD) remains on Schedule 1 of the BVA/KC/ISDS Eye Scheme for these breeds, the Kennel Club will no longer publish results for this condition on registration certificates. Lists of dogs affected by this condition will now be published separately in the Breed Records Supplement.

Owners requiring revised registration certificates should return the original certificate together with the request for a new one to the Kennel Club.
