From Grantham DCS The Supermatch Winner was
the Maltese Ilonas Afternoon Delight at Mariposa, owned by Mrs AS Bailey.

Supermatch runner up was the Hallams’ GSP Lipplinger Nene, representing Mansfield DCS and handled by Mrs Aileen Hallam.

The Lord Kirkham received a cheque for £500 from president, Barry Cotterill. This was in aid of the Kennel Club’s Charitable Trust.

Pictured with the winner, Ilonas Afternoon Delight at Mariposa are (l-r) judge, Pedro Albergaria, artist Stuart Mallard, commentator Brian Ballan who was one of the event’s first organisers and Phil Freer one of the organisers and also representing Hill’s Pet Nutrition.

Best beaten finalist was Mrs D Walton’s PBGV, Crynlisi Aussi at Tangaer, representing Mountsorrel DCS.

Rod Oldham (left) and artist Stuart Mallard presented a wonderful headstudy of last year’s winner, Rodale Ranger.

After the competitions and meal, participants enjoyed an excellent cabaret.
