Dogs’ Home open day
THE
MANCHESTER Dogs’ Home is delighted to report that its annual
Open Day held on Sunday 15th September was the best ever. There
was something for everyone and the event was well supported
by the public.
Everything went in the Home’s favour – it was a beautiful,
sunny day which must have been one of the reasons for the excellent
turnout. People came from as far away as Cumbria, Huddersfield
and Blackpool.
A big thank you from the 25 very lucky dogs that were re-homed
on the day. We hope they are all settling in well to their new
homes. All the staff at the home wish the dogs and their owners
good luck for the future. Home staff were particularly pleased
that some of the long-stay residents were re-homed on the day.
The home still has over 200 dogs on its re-homing row. We appeal
to anyone thinking of adopting a dog, to visit the Manchester
Dogs’ Home. We have the largest selection of dogs available
for adoption. The Home is open seven days a week, Monday to
Saturday, 1pm to 5pm, Sunday, 1pm-4pm. Telephone 0161-205 2874.
