Entries sought for Crufts charity auction

Entries are currently being accepted for the Crufts ‘Dogs In Art and Literature’ auction which is once agin to be held in March 2003 in aid of The Kennel Club Charitable Trust.

Highlights of last year’s sale included a fine study of a Pekingese by Reuben Ward Binks, collections of Royal Doulton and Crown Devon, a rare 19th century enamel pin featuring a Toy Spaniel, and issue number one of The Irish Wolfhound Society Year Book.

As a result of last year’s auction, the Trust received a sizeable sum, all of which helped to provide a better future for our canine friends.

Items can be donated to the Trust, or sold on behalf of vendors, the vendor receiving 65% of the hammer price. No item is too ‘small’, ‘unimportant’ or ‘minor’ for consideration.

For further information, or to arrange for an item to be appraised or collected, please contact the auction organiser Nick Waters on 01743 355412 or e-mail hazystar2btopenworld.com
