Rally attracts record entry
THE FOURTH running of a Siberian Husky Rally will take place
this December at Dalby Forest near Pickering, York.
The rally is organised by the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain
and the two day event will see competitors travelling from all
over the country to take part in this rapidly growing sport.
The competition is open to pure-bred sled dogs but will mainly
consist of Siberian Huskies.
The event, sponsored by Burgess Supa Dog, has attracted a record
number of teams this year with the Siberian Husky Club now having
more than 1,000 members.
Each class has a varying number of huskies pulling the sled
or cart and points are awarded to individual dogs for their
race position and added to their performance in the show ring
to determine who wins the prestigious Siberian Husky Clubs Dual
Championships.
