Ruth Tattersall
It is with deep regret that I have to inform you of the death
of Dr Ruth Tattersall. The funeral service will take place on
Friday 11th October, representatives from the Italian Spinone
Club of GB will be present.
Dr Ruth was one of the first to import the Spinone into the
country for showing and breeding, and the first to import a
Brown Roan Dog, Gek di Morghengo (an influential sire, who is
behind alot of dogs being shown today) and Urania del Benaco
the 1st Brown Roan bitch. In the minutes of the inaugural meeting
of the Italian Spinone Club of GB she proposed the formation
of the club and proposed the title and served as the first vice-president.
