Kennel Club - Show Handler of the Year competition - Crufts
2003
The Kennel Club is pleased to announce that at Crufts 2003 the
YKC Show Handler of the Year Competition will include a sub-section
for those children aged six and seven years.
Those children aged six and seven years who become eligible
and would like to take part in this event may become an Associate
YKC member and they will also receive the quarterly newsletter,
all for a payment of £3.00.
The qualification procedure is as follows:
i. Northern Ireland Highest placed Northern Ireland resident
from each age group from YKC handling classes held at Belfast
Ch. Show 2002.
ii. Scotland Highest two from each age group, from the
Scottish Junior Handler of the Year Competition 2002.
iii. Wales Highest placed Welsh resident in the JHA Handling
classes held at the Welsh Kennel Club Ch. Show 2002.
iv. England Top 15 English residents for each age group,
6-7 years, 8-11 years and 12-16 years, for each dog Group, based
on points gained and recorded in YKC Points Books between 1
January and 1 October 2002 and divided by the number of shows
attended
In order to be considered for qualification, the YKC Members
Points Book must be submitted to the Handling and Events Co-ordinator
no later than Monday 21 October 2002. Those aged 6-7 years,
may apply for a Points Book from the YKC office.
