The start of judging at the Nidderdale Agricultural Show last Monday was delayed by half an hour after two bullocks broke loose from their handlers in the main ring and made their way into the dog section! The first was captured after some deft handling in the main show area whilst the second, a Belgian Blue, was ‘arrested’ by police and nearby exhibitors after clearing dog cages at the ringside but not ring tapes. A trailer was brought into the dog section and the bullock returned to his pen none the worst for his experience!
