18,000 entries for World Show
The
World Show, to be held in Dortmund at the end of May, has attracted
a total entry of 18,716.
There are 143 entries from Britain which represents 0.76% of
the total entry. The top ten entries worldwide are: Germany
7,660 (40.93%); Holland 2,048 (10.94%); Italy 1,103 (5.89%);
France 873 (4.66%); Denmark 779 (4.16%); Belgium 772 (4.12%);
Sweden 731 (3.91%); Finland 692 (3.70%); Czechoslovakia 664
(3.55%) and Russia 462 (2,47%).
OUR DOGS also understands that there are entries from Australia
2; Argentina 2; Brazil 12; Chile 4; Greenland 11; Guatemala
1; Indonesia 1; Israel 21; Japan 24; Canada 5; Mexico 8; Peru

So come on UK exhibitors, if people can travel from as far afield
as that, surely we can field a much better entry in future years,
though perhaps Rio de Janeiro 2004 is a little far to travel!
