On offer at Christie’s South Kensington saleroom on Thursday, December 11th, was this unusual German ceramic rectangular plaque showing six Pugs at play in an interior, around a straw filled trough, with a small puppy to one side with a blue ribbon. This German (Berlin) plaque was made circa 1880 and has impressed "Scepters", "KPM" and "H" marks, incised 20-14.
