Veterinary
surgeons and veterinary nurses have until January 26, 2004
to nominate a deserving veterinary nurse for the National
Pet Week Veterinary Nurse of the Year Competition . £1000
prize goes to the winner.
By highlighting the role of the veterinary nurse in practices
under the theme ‘Give your pet a long and healthy
life’, National Pet Week aims to encourage more people
to think about preventive health care for their pets and
to go to their local practice for advice.
Nominations for the National Pet Week Veterinary Nurse for
the Year will be accepted from fellow veterinary surgeons
and veterinary nurses in the practice.
An entry form can be found at www. Nationalpetweek.org.uk.
The winner will be announced for National Pet Week May 1-9
2004.
Entries should go to Carole Mendoza, at the NPW Administration
Office, 4-6 Peterborough Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 2BQ,
